Legal clarity for international buyers

Yes. If you hold an 'Ethiopian Origin ID' (Yellow Card), you have the same rights as a citizen to purchase real estate. If you do not have a Yellow Card, we can structure a leasehold agreement.
No. You can grant a specific 'Power of Attorney' (POA) to a trusted family member or our legal representative. This must be authenticated at your local Ethiopian Embassy.
Absolutely. In fact, paying in foreign currency often qualifies you for prioritized allocation and potential discounts. We accept transfers from all major international banks.
Our contracts include strict penalty clauses. If we delay beyond the grace period, Mekiya pays you monthly rent compensation until handover.
